Getting started

What is SVGCooP?

A membership for crafters. For one low monthly price you get access to a whole library of original cut files — ready for Cricut, Silhouette, laser, print, and sublimation — plus new designs, classes, and a friendly community every month.

How does it work?

Join, log in, and the library is yours. Every new file each month is included, and you can download up to 20 more a month free from the shop. No buying files one at a time.

About the files

Where did the Disney and character files go?

I took them down, and I want to be straight with you rather than let you keep searching for them. For a long time I made files based on characters I don’t own. Lots of people in this hobby do, and I understand why — those are the designs people love. But I want the Coop to still be here in ten years, and a library built on someone else’s characters isn’t something you can build a future on. It was a hard thing to give up, and I know it’s disappointing if those are the files you joined for.

Will they ever come back?

They won’t — those are retired for good, and I’d rather say so plainly than leave you waiting on something that isn’t coming. But please know that anything you already downloaded is still yours to keep, forever. Nothing has been taken off your computer and nothing you saved has expired. This only affects what’s available going forward.

So what am I getting instead?

The same kinds of projects you came for — pop-up cards, mini albums, scrapbook layouts, pattern paper, titles — designed here in the Coop instead of borrowed. A fresh coordinated collection arrives every month, and the whole growing library is yours the entire time you’re a member. There’s one real upside too: because these are mine, the commercial-use license in your membership actually means something. You can make things from these files and sell them. That was never possible with the character files.

How are the designs made?

By me, using every tool the modern craft world has to offer. I’ve been a graphic designer for about twenty years, and my process now includes AI as one tool among many — the same way Cricut’s own Design Space has added AI features for turning images into coloring pages and generating designs. It’s part of how this industry works now.

Here’s exactly where it does and doesn’t get used. Mostly, AI is an idea builder — a way to sketch possibilities quickly and see where a collection might go before I commit to it. Beyond that it lends a hand now and then on certain papers, borders, cards and posters. Only some of them, though, nowhere near all: I still design plenty of my own pattern paper from scratch, and I always will.

The making is mine. The layouts, the projects, the mini albums, the pop-up mechanics, the characters — those are designed and built by me, the way they always have been. A pretty picture isn’t a project. No tool is going to work out how a pop-up folds, where a score line belongs, or whether a piece will actually cut.

But a raw AI image isn’t a cut file and never will be. Everything that reaches you gets drawn, rebuilt, cleaned up node by node, and physically cut on my own machines before it goes out. If it doesn’t cut clean on my table, you never see it.

File credits

What are file credits?

Every month your membership includes 20 fresh file credits for the back-catalog — 1 credit = 1 design from the shop. This month’s collection never uses credits — it’s always included. Founding Flock members have unlimited downloads for life and never see a counter. Credits refresh on the 1st of each month (they don’t roll over — use them, they’re yours!).

Do older months cost credits?

If you were a member during a month, those files are yours — free, always. Months from before you joined can be grabbed as a whole-month bundle for 10 credits — we’re just glad you’re catching up!

What if I run out of credits?

They refresh on the 1st! Can’t wait? Grab a whole past month for $10, and remember — everything in the shop is 30% off for members, always.

Is the shop the same as the library?

Yes! The shop is the library. Members browse all of it free and get every new monthly release free. Founding Flock download as much as they want; Coop Nesters (joining after Aug 1) get 20 a month from the back-catalog. Non-members can buy individual files.

Downloads

How many files can I download?

All of each month’s new releases are included automatically. Then it depends when you joined: Founding Flock (joined before Aug 1) get unlimited downloads from the whole library, for life. Coop Nesters (joined after Aug 1) get 20 a month from the back-catalog (extras at member price).

Do unused downloads roll over?

If you’re Founding Flock, downloads are unlimited so there’s nothing to roll over. For Coop Nesters, the 20 reset fresh each month (no rollover) — and whatever you download is yours to keep forever.

What’s the difference between Founding Flock and Coop Nesters?

Founding Flock join before Aug 1 and lock in unlimited downloads for life at the lowest price ever ($15/mo or $150/yr). Coop Nesters join after founding closes and get 20 downloads a month (extras at member price) at standard pricing. Founders keep their perks for life — they’re never taken away.

Do I keep my files if I cancel?

Yes. Anything you’ve downloaded is yours to keep forever. Membership is what unlocks downloading more.

Do files ever expire?

Never. Past months stay right in the library — no countdowns, no rush.

Pricing & founding

What does it cost?

Founding price is $15/mo or $150/yr. Standard pricing is $25/mo or $250/yr. Annual plans get 2 months free, every year.

I’m already a member — is my price changing?

No — your current membership price will not change. It stays the same for as long as your membership stays active. Any new pricing only applies to people who join later, never to current members. šŸ’›

Is the founding price really locked?

Yes — your founding rate stays locked for as long as you keep your membership. It’s our thank-you for joining early.

What happens if I cancel and rejoin later?

A break in membership ends the founding rate — if you leave and come back, you’d rejoin at the current standard price. So keeping your membership active is what protects your locked-in price.

When does founding pricing end?

Founding closes August 1. After that, new members join at standard pricing.

Using the files

What machines do the files work with?

Cricut, Silhouette, laser (diode/COā‚‚), and they print beautifully too — great for print-and-cut and sublimation.

What formats are included?

Every design comes as SVG + PNG + JPG, so you’re ready for almost anything with no converting.

Do they cut cleanly?

That’s the whole point — every file is built to cut clean: crisp edges, no messy nodes, no weeding nightmares.

Can I sell what I make?

Yes! Make it and sell it — products, crafts, and gifts. The only rule: don’t resell or share the digital file itself.

Can I request a design?

If it’d suit lots of members, yes — I’ll happily add it to the library. Tell me on the member survey!

Membership & account

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely — it’s month-to-month, cancel whenever, no hoops. (Just remember a break ends your founding rate.)

Can I pause instead of cancel?

Yes — if you need a breather, reach out and we’ll work out a pause so you can keep your spot and your founding price. šŸ’›

I had trouble logging in — is that fixed?

Yes! Sign-in is smooth now. If you ever get stuck, use ‘Lost your password?’ for an instant reset, or reply to any email and I’ll help.

Community & extras

What else do I get?

A new class each month (build your own nest in our tree!), monthly giveaways, a friendly community, and a say in what gets made next.
